More About Martina Walsh


Before joining Avid Partners Business & Financial Advisers in February 2011, I was fortunate to work in various industries to include a large multi-national manufacturing company, the Banking sector and various SMEs.  I would like to think that I brought with me a wealth of experience in administration, management and customer service.


Originally from Portlaoise, I was delighted to work in such a progressive company with offices in both Portlaoise and Dublin and embraced the opportunities I enjoy at Avid Partners Business & Financial Advisers where I have progressed from starting as receptionist to now working as Office Manager managing a team of 14!  I was awarded a Diploma in First Line Management (Supervision) in 2008 and this has certainly stood to me in my current position. 


I firmly believe that it is important to have an understanding of our Clients and their industry to help ensure a successful and rewarding relationship.  We, like our Clients, want to grow our business and I personally aim to exceed the expectations of our client and ‘go the extra mile’.  I particularly enjoy working with newly formed companies and helping them understand the requirements of a company in relation to Revenue, Companies Registration Office obligations, etc.

Yes Avid Partners have two divisions of the company. We have an accountancy division that handles your day to day financial necessities and we also have an advisory division to assist companies develop their businesses. This can include consultancy, marketing and guidance when required. We can act as a Chairperson for your organisation if required and can also take away some of the day to day pressures that can restrict growth and slow development. Avid Partners can help with both of the critical aspects of a company, keeping costs down as much as possible and growing revenues exponentially. Technology companies need patience in developing their visions and an involved day to day partner is the best way of keeping a good business balance.
